BBC Children in Need is a charity that helps make a real difference to the lives of children across the UK. Its vision is to give all children a safe, happy and secure childhood that helps them reach their potential.

BBC Children in Need provides grants to projects in the UK, which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. Organisations big and small use these grants to help empower children and extend their life choices.

Every year in November, the BBC Children in Need Appeal broadcasts on BBC One. It’s a whole evening of entertainment, with celebrities singing and dancing, and doing all sorts of crazy things to raise money.
